College
I'm in the Eleanor Roosevelt College (ERC) Class of 2012 at UC San Diego (UCSD), which ironically is actually in La Jolla, not San Diego proper. I'm majoring in Computer Science at the CSE Department.
Apart from computers and programming, I enjoy philosophy, politics, and generally any "geeky" activities.
If you're confused about ERC vs. UCSD, read the fine Wikipedia pages I linked to. Basically, UCSD has a residential college system ala Oxford and ERC is one of the colleges. Its emphasis is on globalization/international affairs. John Muir College was my first choice (and apparently most people's, hence why I didn't get into it). ERC is known for having the best dorms and a pretty good dining hall, which I can attest to the truth of.

I'm also on Facebook and LinkedIn, where, for dubious privacy reasons, my profile has much more info on me than this public webpage.

Pronunciation of "Rebert"
After a long history of mispronunciations, I am officially proclaiming "reh-b-air" (i.e. with a silent "t" like Mr. Stephen Colbert), as the correct way to pronounce my last name because: (1) it's closer to the original French (2) it's more memorable/unique (3) the Colbert parallel is awesome and makes it easy to explain.
Please avoid mispronouncing it as "Ree-burt". It's just wrong in so many ways.
